“Enchanting” is the word I’d use to describe the Blue Ridge Mountains within Leicester, North Carolina– a small town just northwest of Asheville. The mid-October air resting on lush, grassy hills, surrounded by tall Oak trees that have just begun to show brilliant shades of yellow, all seem to come together to create a scene out of a storybook.
The main characters in this fairytale of a wedding are Sabrina and Andrew.
Sabrina and Andrew found their way to each other through mutual friends, despite attending different high schools across town. They’d spend the next six years together, filling that time with plenty of date nights consisting of staying in, enjoying good food, and watching (maybe a little bit too much) Harry Potter! Sabrina and Andrew balanced each other out perfectly, making it very clear that not only would they be beautiful partners for life, but also the best of friends.
On October 16th, 2021, Sabrina and Andrew said “yes” to a lifetime together, surrounded by their closest loved ones – even their sweet pup, Honey, who made an appearance to show her support! It was a ceremony filled with tall stems of pampas grass lining the aisle, groomsmen in classic suspenders, bridesmaids in rosy velvet dresses, and love from every angle. Really, it was a dream.
Guitar, Doc Brown’s BBQ, and plenty of dancing wrapped up the day under the North Carolina stars. Sparklers and champagne sent Sabrina and Andrew off to continue writing their love story. It was the perfect ending to the perfect North Carolina wedding– one that we’ll all remember forever.
To Sabrina & Alex – Thank you with all of my heart for including me in your dreamy, mountain wedding. It was a story I’d relive any day!
